(and i'm hungry too)

i hate it that you 'speak' as if you want to pick a fight.
(speaking seems to be almost an impossibility and an understatement)

i feel like i'm going to develop a cough. -looks at joyce, the spreader of love germs-
a few days ago i was a sneezing machine for a good consecutive 4 days? terrible. everytime i left home i made sure i had 3 packets of tissue paper in my bag.

slept at near 4 am last night, doing my ads for the copywriting module due today, staring at enough dead fish to last me a few years. though i admit, from 3-4 i was not actually doing my work but preparing for bed. you see, i had found my erjie still awake at the unearthly hour. we chatted abit, and realised we were hungry. so we ate bread (humble food for the night scavengers). anyway, the panic attack i had from midnight till the time i finished my posters was about 7 on the Richter Scale of Panic Attacks. high, but not fatal. procrastination will grant me a heart attack one day. but somehow creative juices come at these crucial times, coming in a close second after Inspirational Toilet Trips. maybe next time i should just sit on the toilet bowl while hours away from a deadline. that should do the trick.

and i realise i get adrenaline rush just doing those last minute posters. i get so efficient i frighten myself. though i must say, God was kind and stopped my indesign from hanging while photoshop and a million other windows were open as i worked.

today was actually not that bad a day, minus the parts where there were minor quarrels between my mum and i. we hardly see eye to eye these days, about the trivialest of things. i will not go into them.

i was reading through my past entries the other day (from a few years ago), and i realised my spelling was terrible. there were those short forms--"de" instead of "the", "fr" instead of "from"--and weird habits like saying "mah" instead of "my" that now irritates me. worse, i was into the "yoyoyo" thing, which annoys the crap out of me now. i was thinking if it was really that hip last time, these strange, strange things.

it's nice, though, reliving the things i went through. it's like a journey, documented.

on another note, a most ironic compliment i received today, from a junior: "yeah you look like you can drive. you look like the independent kind of person." i didn't know whether to laugh or not.

but before you laugh along, let me say this: given the choice, a change in environment/situation, that would be true.

(somehow i cannot resist a haha right now, though i tell myself i'm perfectly serious about that last statement.)
